While clearing out equipment and appliances after closing the doors of a family-owned and operated restaurant/lounge in Downtown Atlanta, I was encouraged by Patti to hold on to a lone commercial KitchenAid stand mixer left in the restaurant kitchen. With no baking experience, I began experimenting with cookie recipes and came upon the Tank Goodness story in a “How To” book about home-based baking businesses. It was serendipity, and the seed for Tank Goodness Atlanta was planted. After a few days of intense training at Tank U in Minneapolis, we are now armed with the secret recipe for Dennis and Anne’s amazing oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, a few recipes of our own, and of course our trusty mixer. We are ready to bring warm cookies to the people of Atlanta!
